1963 was an incredible year for music and local favorite Tod Macofsky takes on on a journey with surf music by the Beach Boys and Dean and the Surfaris, to folk songs by Peter, Paul & Mary, Bob Dylan and Trini Lopez to girl groups like the Crystals, the Chiffons and the Ronettes. In his one-man show 1963, local award-winning singer Tod Macofsky pays tribute to the of unforgettable songs that shaped his youth and the events that changed the world. Songs include “Walk Right In,” “Wishin’ & Hopin’,” “Surfin’ USA,” “Sugar Shack,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Be My Baby,” “Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” and many more.
Patrons are entitled to ONLY 2 tickets. This is a popular event and tickets are limited. All events are at the LIBRARY. The doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime and access to seating granted ONLY to those who are holding printed or digital, registered tickets. Ticket registration guarantees priority seating up to 15 minutes prior to showtime ONLY. If you are unable to attend, please email us at [email protected]
All others including walk up patrons and those who are late for priority seating will be admitted as space allows at 15 minutes to curtain. Registration does NOT guarantee a seat unless you check prior to 15 minutes to curtain. After that your priority seating is forfeited. Please print your tickets so that your barcode may be scanned at the door and enter the priority seating line (or save on your smart device).
There is no outside food or beverage allowed inside the library. No animals are allowed in the library
